This means alongside the 18-month apprenticeship, marketing workshops and 1-2-1 sessions with the Swift DM team, your new apprentice will be given a 6-module marketing course dedicated to recruitment marketing, monthly mentoring sessions and access to a community of other recruitment marketing apprentices to help them, long after their course finishes.

The Nuts & Bolts

Alongside the Swift course, your DM Swift recruitment apprentice will also be trained by huzzah! on the following marketing activities:

  • BRAND AND INTRODUCTION TO RECRUITMENT MARKETING

    Providing the new starters with a basic introduction to the principles of marketing, how to identify your audience and who we’re targeting and essential output. This will be coupled with a session on what a recruitment firm needs from marketing, the nuances of B2B and activity they can do from day 1 to drive value.

  • Social media and personal branding

    Helping the new starters identify the best channels to use, giving them best practice advice for each along with tools and tactics to help manage posts and drive reach and engagement. This will cover the essential platforms: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

  • Content marketing and media

    We’ll teach the new starters the value of content, types of content that they can produce and give them ground-rules for writing, designing or recording content. They’ll leave being armed ready to create and understand how pieces can be re-used and repurposed for different channels.

  • Data, analytics and reporting

  • Email marketing

    We’ll take the new starters through devising an email plan, building individual emails and the difference between candidate and client communications. We’ll cover: job emails, cv specs, bd client emails, newsletters.

  • Search and optimisation

    We’ll give the new starters a basic introduction to SEO and paid tactics so they can build these into their content plans and output. This can also be used to help guide consultant job advertisements.

Your apprentice will be assigned a contact from huzzah! to help them in the first 12 months of their time with you. This time will be spent guiding them on the best activities, encouraging them to monitor activity against ROI and build a consistent marketing roadmap.
